My wheels from the side and yes I am wearing "shoes". My toes drag a bit so I have to wear boots on the back to protect them.
Seems we just keep going back to this fitting thing! I think they fit perfectly! Pam keeps messing with them especially the “saddle”! I get it all stretched out and comfy and then pretty soon she realizes it is loose and bam she tightens it back up again! Something about trying to keep the weight off my back legs so I can have more mobility without the stress. Frankly I like my back legs firmly placed on the ground with my wheels acting more like “training” wheels! Nobody listens to me!
So for all of you who haven’t seen my wheels in person and are curious – here are some photos Kelly took yesterday to send to Walkin Wheels for their professional fitting advice.
Posing for this shot was just CRUEL. Kelly is standing on the back of Pam’s truck and this is “My Door”, can you believe they made me stand here while Kelly crawled around on the truck and they NEVER opened the door for me to get in so they could take me for a ride???? Not fair!
This is not my best side, which is why I need these wheels. If you compare my above chest view to my butt view you will see part of the problem! I have no muscle tone in my butt. Everyone is hoping the wheels will help me build up a little more muscle in my hind end to hold everything together! So this is the “Before” photo! Stay tuned for the “After”!

Yes you need a license plate and a slow-moving vehicle triangle sign! Teehee! Lookin’ good, Lu.
I don’t need no stinkin’ slow-moving vehicle sign!!!! You come walk with me smarty pants! I’ll show you who is slow-moving!!!
Kelly did a great job on those pictures, Lula. I also think you need a license plate with your name on it. Maybe you need a horn on the front that you can reach with your mouth to toot at slow movers who are in your way–or just give one of your super barks.
Maybe a little knapsack to carry your PPB’s in too.
Lula, with the “warmer” weather hopefully you can venture to a lake or pond to work up those rear muscles. We are all going to miss the snow to take baths in, so I guess back to the swimming thing to bathe in. Here’s to you feelin’ better, two paws up!
